Kitchen SOP Platform
Problem
Kitchen operations lacked standardized training, clear documentation, and consistent communication across a multilingual team, leading to inefficiency, mistakes, and heavy reliance on management.

A 20-person restaurant team including cooks, prep staff, and managers, with English, French, and Spanish as primary working languages.
What I Built
A full-stack multilingual SOP platform that centralizes training, procedures, and daily checklists in one role-based web application. The platform includes structured SOPs, workflow-based training videos, employee progress tracking, and an admin dashboard for oversight and auditability.
Where AI Fits
Integrated an OpenAI-powered chatbot that gives staff real-time answers based on documented SOPs, reducing interruptions and easing dependence on management.
My Role
Architected the system and led front-end development in React, working alongside a backend developer using Node.js and SQL. I designed the workflow from the ground up, beginning with a Notion proof of concept and evolving it into a production-ready application. I also worked directly with management to organize SOP content and collaborated with a videographer to create training materials.
Outcome / Intended Impact
The platform improves onboarding, reduces operational errors, and increases consistency across the team. It creates a scalable training and operations system that supports growth while lowering management overhead.
