Hi, my name is Virginie

I’m Virginie Bonhomme, a Creative Technologist and artist based in New York City. I began with Art History at BMCC and later studied software engineering at General Assembly, where learning to code made me fearless with technology. I started blending my background in art with my technical skills, creating work that bridges culture, innovation, and storytelling. To strengthen this foundation, I’ve also been studying cybersecurity to better understand secure data and online safety. Duende, my 3D art book, stands as a first-of-its-kind project that fuses ChromaDepth technology with traditional painting and whimsical storytelling. People of the Future, my AI art exhibition, reimagined Haiti’s future through innovation and culturally rooted design, envisioning technology as a tool for empowerment and possibility. The Kreyolist, my surrealist magazine, pushes the boundaries between human creativity and machine intelligence, transforming that dialogue into a living experiment in storytelling. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to preserving heritage, reimagining the future, and creating tools and experiences that are both creative and secure.
